Turning films into musicals is nothing new, but not too many classic 70s porn flicks have undergone the same transition. The heart-warming story of a ‘cheerleader called Debbie who dreams of joining the Dallas Cowboys and how she achieves her goal’ comes directly from the film, but songs cover for sex scenes and the scenario is larger than life, bright and fun with lots of innuendos. If you like good quality musical theatre, then you’ll love Debbie Does Dallas. (Nicola Husband)
