Felix Dexter
This article is from 2008.
Affable as Dexter seems, his is another show of thwarted ambition, over-reliance on funny voices and an hour show that clocks in at almost 50 minutes, a somewhat irritating trend that has been all-too prevalent this year. There's nothing lightweight about the trained actor's performance, it's simply a triumph of style over content.
Pleasance Courtyard, 556 6550, until 25 Aug, 8.20pm, £11–£12 (£9.50–£10.50).
