School of Comedy
This article is from 2008.
The idea of a fourteen-year-old ingénue f-ing and blinding her way across a stage in her mother's trouser suit might send shivers down every conservative parent's spine, but School of Comedy are back. The comedy sketch troupe of 12 to 16-year-olds triumphed last year with their show in which the likes of Will Poulter (who played bad boy Lee Carter in Son of Rambow) took turns as drunken wives, gawky IT guys and nympho-gymnasts. They may be kids, but they sure ain't acting like it.
School of Comedy, Pleasance Courtyard. 556 6550, 18-24 Aug, 1.40pm, £9 (£8).
