Diet of Worms (1 star)

'Let's get this over and done with as quickly as possible,' says one character during yet another interminably dire 'sketch'. Please. A recurring theme here is the tortured equation that a puffin plus a cat is apparently a 'puffincat'. And, therefore, five Irish comics minus a decent script equals an extremely regrettable waste of anyone's time.

I actually thought this was one of the best shows I've seen at the Fringe this year. I wonder was this reviewer at a different show?? It's original, very funny and unlike anything else on at the Fringe. In a good way. If you like slightly off-beat comedy like The Mighty Boosh, Snuffbox etc, you'll love this. Go see it!

Took them a little while to warm up but good laugh once they got going. Definately recommend them.

From the looks of things, Ms Newlands (the reviewer) is a music critic for the non-fringe months of the year. Maybe she should stick to that, if she doesn't like comedy? I agree with Debs, of all the shows I've seen at the comedy festival this year, this is definately one of the best.

I vote for the List re-reviewing this show and giving them a review they deserve.
